Hope you got some good headphones. The sounds in the game itself is pretty intense. Getsome!

 I personally think the best upgrade is the sound.   I was in a fire fight, with our tank sending outgoing rounds, and mortar rounds coming in, and I almost got under my desk.  The thunder was awesome!

Man they hit the nail with every sound imaginable. The worst sound (it was good) was when I was on the second floor of the building and the creaking sound of the metal beams before the building collapsed was hair raising.

Try being a turret gunner for the tank....the sound of the brass hitting the floor is awesome.

AND the chatter from you and the squad mates during combat (especially the US voices) are the best.

I'm here and FoG is still lost in WoW somewheres :D

I hope Fog gets a good PC this year. This game is sure as hell worth it. I'll be in this for a long time.

Well I've played this for a few days. Jury is still out for me. At the moment I can only take  4 or 5 rounds of dying quite often and being last place in points every round.  Taking a couple days break from it. The other thing which is hindering me is the crazy headache from eye strain if I play too much (which is only 4 or 5 rounds).

I'll keep working on it and I have no where near the time to play as I did back in the BF2 days.

Yeah you need to level up and get some unlocks, until you get the upgrades, your pretty much meat. Play time, around 18-24 hrs, you should have enough unlocks to be competitive . Less if you concentrate on one class.

BAH! You've got PIXIE DUST withdrawals!

Agreed to ETF's post. Persistence with all 4 classes has it's rewards. Not at the cost of dying and cussing alot.

I stuck with the engineer. The class with the craptastic 20  round clip zip gun w/ silencer at the start...UNTIL many hours/unlocks later....I unlocked the AKSU (modified AK47) with a silencer and a advanced kit for it. Kick ass.

Recon patience, will earn you binos for you to call in devastating mortar strikes. (Love that) along with some devastating long range scoped rifles. I'm not pleased at all with my WW2 Thompson that I unlocked though.

Medic persistence will earn you the M60e...and if you have a scope, good night! Who would have thunk'd it, a corpsman with a scoped M60 is just wrong. lol.

Regarding the headaches...yeah I feel you. Way too much going on for my eyes at the moment. Too be fair, BF2 was like that for me in the beginning. I had to expose myself daily to break my eyes in. Last night was the worse migraine though. ---Stick with it bud! You'll be flushed in no time.

Ok, I will go out on weds and pick up the game and see how this machine runs it.
