LIke I've said, the money is releasing games that play on Xbox live and Playstation online. More buyers, less bugs, fewer patches. They waste more money on dev's to un fuck a console port for PC users. Patching and addressing balance issues, graphic issues from various rig setups yada, yada, YADA. It's just simpler for them to make games for consoles rather than a game for just PC or ported.

Welcome to the what has already is the beginning of the end to great PC games. MMO's are about the only good games you'll be able to play on PC. And even that will change with the new generation consoles within the decade.
