I took the time to register and write this to report a very bad playing moment on your server this evening. Two kids, respectively named Willy_w4nker and mister_muffin from [ECG] clan ruined everything. Here's a summary of what they did all game long, either in their team or not.

• Ramming everything they could
• Roll over everyone with the vehicules (mostly jeeps)
• Fire at chopper with tank on spawn point
• Steal assets
• Do everything possible to kill their own teammates, and yes, they succeeded many times
• Spam chat box with offensive and disrespectful talk

That's what I remember, they surely did more that I didn't see / noticed.

Briefly, for the sanity of your server and to keep players (normal ones) enjoying your server, they need a permanent ban.

How did you support your teammates in game? Tried to take out the Arty pieces/ Scan trailers as much as possible to "Blind" the OPFOR

List 3 things about BF2 or BC2 that annoy you the most (ie...bunny-hopping) Didn't have a lot of offensive capabilities for the Helo's for just the pilot.  AIX 2.0 fixed that.

Been a gamer for many years now. Played a variety of different types of games.  While FPS are not my first choice, I do thoroughly enjoy BF2/3. I have a lot of experience with different Helo/ Flight sim's. (Longbow/ Longbow2, Fighters Anthology, F15SE3, USAF, etc...) (Yes, I loved Janes Combat Sim's)  Didn't get to play BF2/BC2 online because at the time I was on satellite internet and gaming was not exactly their strong suit. I now use Verizon wireless and it's much better. Just don't like the 5 GB D/L  limit (and that is their max).

I honestly thought t was all the same thing. Sorry about that.
 

We do have a BF3 server up called The Old Farts. and you can see server stats for it on the home page of our website.  We run a all Conquest server, Perhaps we will see you there?
 

I returned then to tell him I wasnt abusing anyone, and that he should just drop the issue. But no, he once again said 'we have no place for abusive people' and kicked me a second time.

And so I joined again, this time keeping quiet, until a player wrote 'you cunt...tk'ed me', to which I responded 'Whoop, you're about to get kicked'. At that moment I was being a smartass, I admit that, but Callou5 responded with 'Keep trolling kid and I promise I will ban you' and 'play the game and stop being a dickhead', as seen in the image below.

Now I'm a reasonable person, but I find it ironic how after I told him to 'drop it', he proceeded to carry on, and later on told me to 'play the game'. I can admit my fault in partially carrying on, but even still, this shouldnt have happened in the first place. I've never abused anyone on this server, and never will. The only thing I have done is make general statements on people who use the IRNV, and never before have I been accused of being abusive.

I ask that you talk some sense into Callou5 and tell him to ease up a bit. No one likes having pointless arguments. Thanks. -David A.

How did you support your teammates in game?  Follow orders, resupply/medkits.  I like tanking and gunning in helos.  Not the best pilot, especially of jets though.

List 3 things about BF2 or BC2 that annoy you the most (ie...bunny-hopping):  Unloading a clip into someone only to have them whip around & one shot kill me.

Do You Drink Beer?  Yes, I actually brew my own.  From kits though so I'm not too hardcore.

Are You On Meds?  No way man.  I may rage quit every once in a while but I'm not on meds.

I have your BF3 server in my favorites, played on your BF2 server, & consider myself an 'old fart' by gamer standards.  I've played Battlefield as St33lGh0st since BF1942/DC and also play TF2.  I had a good time on your server a few weeks back trying to track down ericTheFrog, although he got me more than I got him.  I just want to find some low key guys around my own age to squad up with & play BF3 with.

What do you guys expect from members?  Do you expect people to play a certain amount every day/week/month?  Pay dues?

Do You Drink Beer? Probably far too much, yes.  Miller Lite for daily consumption, Amstel Light, Newcastle, Sam Adams, etc. when I'm feeling like some quality.

Are You On Meds? No.

I was a member of =E2N= clan in BF2 days, and enjoyed having a group to play true team-based games with.  Like the server, like the clan theme(I may not qualify as old fart at 32, but I feel/act like it!), and am looking for a group to team up with when I play.  I work a lot and have 4 kids, so I can't always play as often as I'd like, but if I can get a decent team to play with I'm usually good for 2-4 hours/night when I'm not working late.

I'll join up on TS and start talking to you guys while I'm on your server.

I have played just about every FPS up to about 5 years ago. I was playing SWAT4 and for some reason started playing WoW. I stopped playing shooters all together until a couple months ago. My son (7) got me back into them. Playing BC2 together. I was so hooked that for the first time ever, I sat at game stop for the midnight release of BF3. I am pretty quiet in game, but like your server the best. I pretty much play on it exclusively so I would imagine we will get to know each other soon enough. I too prefer playing with older players that are also interested in friends as well as gaming.
